Want to know the simple truth?

Without traffic to your sites you are not going to make any money online...plain and simple.

All your hard earned money you have spent getting your sites up and running will be wasted.

If you already have sites up that don't get traffic and you are continuing to make new ones then you need to...STOP !

Because making new sites and products is not the answer.  You need TRAFFIC!

So now that you know traffic is the most important thing for your site, the hard part now is actually figuring out how to get traffic.

But even more than getting traffic to your site, there is one more very important part of the equation to get a sale.

You must have conversion.  Traffic + Conversion + Sales

1. Without conversion from traffic to sale you will find yourself with some serious issues.
   
   You will not get your site picked up by search engines because your site is not properly optimized. When people are doing their searching you want your site to come up. Most sites that do not convert well are not properly Search Engine Optimized.
    
2. You won’t be able to use paid traffic methods, because you will not be able to justify using it. If you are using Pay Per Click (PPC) you will soon have to stop if you are not getting the desired action from the visitor from your site.
    
3. Another big problem you will run into will be trying to get JV partners.
   JV partners like to promote sites that convert well. If you have a site that is not converting the visitors that the JV partner sends into sales, how long do you think that JV will keep traffic coming your way? Easy answer…NOT VERY LONG!
   
   He is not in the business of building your list without compensation. Chances are not very good in your favor that the JV partner will promote the next time you ask either.
   
   This will be the case especially if you continue this trend.
   
   So as you can see just getting traffic to your site is not what you are looking to do.
   
   You must turn your traffic into conversions. This is best done by learning all there is to know about your traffic that you have coming to your site.
   One problem I can see is that people are hopping from one product to the next looking for the next big traffic secret to come out. Instead of looking to see how they can make what they have now work. They blame it on the method and go searching for the next.

Ways to generate traffic

Although there are several great ways to generate good high quality traffic I want to just cover a couple right now that will help you as a beginner get going and are not that hard to get started with.

JV Partners- Using JV Partners to drive traffic is the number 1 method of getting massive, high quality, target traffic to your website.

Using JV Partners is just plain very powerful. A single mailing of a strong JV partner can generate you tons of traffic, sales and profits as was seen when I launched Layoff Your Boss.

My JV partners generated me a list of highly targeted buyers and leads in just a matter of days. Within the first week of launch of Layoff Your Boss my JV partners generated me a list of over 10,000.

You need to make sure you do whatever you can to keep a good JV partner when you find one.

Now remember from earlier on this page I talked about making sure you had a site that is converting well for your JV partners to drive traffic to.

Another thing to make sure of is that you have an excellent product for your JV partner to send good quality leads and buyers to. Good quality products convert well and will generate sales for both you and your JV partner.

Have your site ready to go when you ask your JV partner to promote. Your partners will want to look at the product they are promoting to make sure it is something that they will feel comfortable promoting to their lists.

You will find that JV Partners will not want to promote anything that looks unprepared.

Make sure you do everything you possibly can to make the partnership a good experience for the JV partner. By doing this your JV Partner will promote for you over and over again.
